Hello everyone,
I continue my memories of Kayseri from where I left off. There are not many places to visit in the city center, so we usually visited the districts. Again, one weekend, my friend and I jumped in the car and moved to Talas district, which is the talk of Kayseri people. According to the rumors, the heart of the city beats in this district and almost most of the social activities are located in this district. We were not indifferent to all these positive thoughts.

Kayseri ile ilgili anılarıma kaldığım yerden devam ediyorum. Şehir merkezinde çok fazla gezecek yer olmadığı genellikle ilçeleri gezdik. Yine bir hafta sonu arkadaşın arabaya atlayıp Kayseri halkının dilinden düşmeyen Talas ilçesine hareket ettik. Söylenenlere göre şehrin kalbi bu ilçede atıyor ve neredeyse sosyal faaliyetlerin büyük bir kısmı bu ilçede bulunuyor. Kulağımıza gelen bunca pozitif düşüncelere kayıtsız kalmadık.
By the way, we made this trip two or three months ago.
After parking the car at a suitable spot, we drank nine teas at a cozy café. After we energized ourselves, we stepped into a historical street. As soon as we stepped onto the street, I felt emotions that I cannot describe. It was as if the street was made with care. I was getting lost in the depths of history every time I took a step. My friends must have liked it as much as I did because they were taking photos at almost every step. 😅
Bu arada bu geziyi yine iki- üç ay önce gerçekleştirdik.
Arabayı uygun bir noktaya park ettikten sonra şirin bir kıraathane de dokuz çayı içtik. Enerji depoladıktan sonra tarihi bir sokağa adım attık. Sokağa adım atar atmaz ben de tarif edemeyeceğim şekilde duygular belirdi. Sanki sokak özene bezene yapılmış. Her adım attığım da tarihin derinliklerinde kayboluyordum. Arkadaşlarımda en az benim kadar beğenmiş olmalılar ki neredeyse her adımda fotoğraf çekiyorlardı. 😅
Since it was early in the morning, the street was empty except for a few people. While I was taking a picture of the street, a couple in their 60s came up to me and asked me to take a picture of them too. Then we had a short conversation and they told me that they walk on these streets on weekends.
Erken saatlerde olduğu için sokakta birkaç kişi hariç boştu. Sokağın resmini çekerken yanıma 60'lı yaşlarda bir çift geldi ve kendilerinin de resmimi çekmemi istediler. Daha sonra kısa süreli bir muhabbet gerçekleştirdik. Hafta sonları bu sokaklarda yürüyüş yaptıklarını söylediler.
As we continued our walk, we came across a cafe that appealed to the historical texture of the street. We wanted to sit here and have a drink, but the cafe was not open because the preparations were not completed. I can say that the entrance and the exterior were wonderful. Especially the flowers welcoming the guests at the entrance was a great detail.
Yürüyüşümüz devam ederken sokağın tarihi dokusuna hitap eden bir kafe ile karşılaştık. Burada oturup birşeyler içmek istedik ancak görevli hazırlıklar tamamlanmadığı için kafenin açılmadığını söyledi. Giriş kısmı ve dış tarafı harikaydı diyebilirim. Özellikle giriş kısmında misafirleri çiçeklerin karşılaması harika bir detay diyebilirim.
Another phenomenon that adds beauty to the historical texture is the wooden doors. Especially the decorations on the doors were interesting. The only thing I wondered is whether there is a house or a building behind these doors. Unfortunately, this question remained unanswered. However, there were different types of workshops inside certain structures. Unfortunately, we could not visit these parts because they were not open.
Tarihi dokuya güzellik katan diğer bir olgu ise ahşap kapılar. Özellikle kapıların üzerindeki süslemeler ilgi çekiciydi. Benim tek merak ettiğim şey ise bu kapıların ardında bir ev mi var yoksa herhangi bir yapı mı. Bu sorum maalesef cevapsız kaldı. Ancak belli yapıların içerisinde farklı türde atölyeler bulunuyordu. Açık olmadığı için maalesef bu kısımları da gezemedik.
The part that impressed me the most was the part where the greenery was surrounded by wooden fences. Isn't it wonderful?
We were so immersed in these beauties that we didn't even realize how fast the time passed. After completing the tour in the historic street, we left the area for lunch. These kinds of places soothe the soul. It helped me get rid of the tiredness of the week. Thank you for witnessing this moment with me, may happiness follow you.

Kendimizi bu güzelliklere o kadar kaptırmışız ki zamanın hızlı geçtiğini anlayamadık bile. Tarihi sokaktaki geziyi tamamladıktan sonra öğle yemeği için bölgeden ayrıldık.
