January 12th, 2021You all know by now I'm back in Cambodia, and although we are sleeping in a barely hygienic guesthouse room, we have a modem, so we're connected to Hive. Tomorrow we get our brand new Piaggio Ape Auto+, and this will be the vehicle we use to head out of the capital and start our new life in Pramoey. I am so looking forward to a computer desk and proper office chair so I can Hive with greater efficiency and gusto.
We received a delegation increase from @straykat, and also picked up many new delegations this week from @tawadak24, @reidenling90, @alvonsohiver, and @humbledwriter, @sellennee, @mnurhiver, and @explorewithsasha. Thanks to you ASEAN Hivers for choosing to delegate and support Southeast Asian content while also making yourselves eligible for daily prizes and rewards. Now that I'm back in Cambodia, the creative wheels are already spinning, and I am thinking we need some kind of monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly talent contest.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and more fair.
This week's total effective HP is 49,599, and total delegated HP (35,651 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP) is 46,841 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.
