This post is my entry for the #monomad challange.
This morning I had work near the Oceanside Pier, and decided to stop by for some quick photos. Lately the mornings have been cloudy near the ocean, so it was a perfect time for some black and white pictures. The pier is always busy, as the area around it has a lot of restaurants and activities. There is usually a lot of people walking in the pier but today I also saw a lot of people fishing. I also saw some kind of tribute happening in the water and in the pier, it looked like for someone who recently passed away. There was a lot surfers in the water, and a lifeguard boat. One of the surfers was making a speach. In the pier lots of people watching, most of them wearing the same shirt, and holding flowers that were later thrown in the water.
It was a fun walk in the pier, and on the way back I stopped at the souvenier shop located in the middle of the pier, but ended up not buying anything. I waited a bit to see if anyone would catch a fish, but nothing. Then back to work.

Esta manhã, eu fui trabalhar perto do píer de Oceanside e decidi parar para tirar algumas fotos. Ultimamente, as manhãs têm sido nubladas perto do mar, então foi o momento perfeito para algumas fotos em preto e branco. O píer está sempre movimentado, pois a área em torno dele tem muitos restaurantes e atividades. Geralmente há muitas pessoas caminhando no píer, mas hoje também vi muitas pessoas pescando. Também vi algum tipo de homenagem acontecendo na água e no píer, parecia ser para alguém que faleceu recentemente. Havia muitos surfistas na água e um barco de salva-vidas. Um dos surfistas estava fazendo um discurso. No píer, muitas pessoas estavam assistindo, a maioria com a mesma camiseta e segurando flores que depois foram jogadas na água.
Foi uma caminhada divertida no píer e, no caminho de volta, parei na loja de souvenirs localizada no meio do píer, mas acabei não comprando nada. Esperei um pouco para ver se alguém pegava um peixe, mas nada. Depois, voltei pro trabalho.
