North Korea has fired a second ballistic missile in a week, and it fell in Japan's East sea, outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ). North Korea is currently banned from testing all types of ballistic and nuclear weapons by the United Nations (UN). Additionally, North Korea is subject to UN sanctions.
North Korea claims that the first mentioned test was a hypersonic missile, however, there is no independent verification of this.
Japan and South Korea, have expressed their concerns and disapprovals regarding this launch.
