Today is Sunday and if it is Sunday, we will not forget about going to the church to pray and to listen to the gospel. The weather is not that great that there's a big and heavy rain that came early in the morning and at the same time, there were also a scheduled power outage in our town.
So, basically, we just prepare ourselves with no electricity and if there's no electricity, our water will also gone in a few minutes. The power outage starts at 7 in the morning and it came back at 4 in the afternoon.
As we prepare in the morning to go to the church, I bought an early snack before breakfast and that is hot and fresh bread that we called pandesal. We woke at 7 in the morning after the power outage and do our things together and we went to the church before 9 in the morning.
At that time, the weather is a little bit rainy and we thought that we were the last to go to the church since it will start at 9 in the morning but when we were at the church, only a few people that came because of the bad weather.
As the time lapses, more and more people that came into the church and listen to the gospel and testimonies from the pastor to the members. After we finish before 12, they prepare some food for the lunch which we ate together and we enjoyed the meal because most of the members in the church that came had eaten lunch.
